Otraco International is a Registered Training Organisation accredited to deliver nationally recognised training, assess competencies and issue qualifications and/or statements of attainments recognised within the Australian Qualifications Framework.

Otraco’s training service offers structured learning and assessment pathways within the scope or registration. The training and assessment processes cover all aspects of tyre fitting and repair for light vehicles and ultra-large earthmover machines.

Otraco's experienced and knowledgeable trainers / assessors impart specialized skills, know-how and attributes to tire fitters, enabling them to work safely and efficiently.  Training is based on world best practices, resulting in improved machine availability and lower maintenance costs.

Otraco Training Services Mission Statement

We are committed to the design, development and delivery of high quality training & assessment services in order to:

     -  Enhance tire servicemen skills sets and competencies;

     -  Embed a culture of safety in the workplace;

     -  Facilitate tyre awareness training for machine operators.

Tire Serviceman Training – This program consists of theory sessions, on the job training, followed by practical assessment of competencies.  Units include safety, communication, tire selecting, tire fitting and tire maintenance.

Operator Awareness Training – This course fulfils an important function on a mine site in making operators aware of tire safety and maintenance issues.  It is primarily aimed at mine vehicle operators, but is also a useful introduction to tires for other mine personnel.  Experience has shown that operators with an awareness of tires can make a significant contribution to tire risk and cost reduction by complying with recommended practices.

COMPETENCY-BASED ASSESSMENT
Otraco Training Services is an accredited service provider under the auspices of the Australian National Training Authority, a statutory body established to raise the standard of vocational education across the country.

The Company has developed a range of exclusive tire fitting and maintenance courses designed to:

    -  Improve safety in tire servicing and repair 

    - Improve the skills of tire servicing personnel, in line with national competency standards, to maximize tire life

    -  Raise the level of tire awareness on mine sites.

QUALIFICATION AND CERTIFICATION
Otraco provides a range of certificates acknowledging successful completion of individual units and courses. These include National Qualification Certificates for trainees who successfully complete all the requirements of a course under the Australian Qualification Framework.

Statements of Attainment are also provided for completion of one or more individual units of competency and Certificates of Competency and Attendance are issued for all courses not directly aligned with Australian qualification standards.

CULTURE AND LANGUAGE
Otraco is sensitive to cultural diversities and will modify training as appropriate.  Apart from English, Otraco currently delivers courses in both Spanish and Indonesian.
